Rota Nanny – two weeks on and off

Childcare qualifications essential.

Fluent in English

British Passport holder or settled status for the UK. (You must be based in the UK, and all taxes are paid in the UK)

Experienced nanny with maternity experience

Must have worked in a rota position previously.

Salary £70,000 to 75,000 gross per year.

Burlington Nannies is assisting a new client. They are currently looking for an experienced rota nanny who holds UK recognised childcare qualifications which will include qualifications for newborns. For example, NEST, MNT or similar.

The family are expecting a baby at the beginning of February but would like someone to be available to start mid January.

This is a role for someone who is very experienced with newborns and has longevity in previous roles. You must be able to show that you can care for children from newborn to school age. Focusing on development and ensuring the little one meets their milestones. The ability to settle baby into a routine, feed, wean, sleep routines and potty training will be part of your role. Once the baby years are over you will focus on the educational aspect as well as the day to day care and wellbeing. This is a role that will offer security if you are looking for a long term position. This is very much a role for a career nanny and a nanny who really loves their role and spending time with children.

You will have a warm and approachable disposition with good manners. It is important that you are highly organised with effective communication skills. This is a fully staffed household, so it is key that you are comfortable in a team environment. Everyone pulls together to support the smooth running of the household.

This is a family who are very respectful and will make you feel welcome in their home.

When on duty you will share a room with the baby. Flights are paid back to the UK between shifts.
