They are expecting their second baby end of January. A maternity nurse will be employed until June. They then require a professional and experienced baby nanny to take over. This is a position covering 24 hours from Monday morning until Friday evening when the weekend nanny will take over. You will need to go to your own accommodation at weekends. This is a role for someone with a minimum of 15 years’ experience, and it is essential that you have worked with children from 5 months and can show a proven track record of caring for children through to school age. You must be confident seeing baby through all his milestones. They are ideally looking for a Kiwi or Aussie nanny. This is because they visit Australia a few times throughout the year. However, they will look at British if you are under the age of 35. Please note this is due to the fact that you need to be eligible for the correct working visa.   You will be responsible for two children aged 9 & 13 years. Working Monday to Friday. You will cover the morning routines which will be seeing the girls get ready for school, breakfast time and school runs. The day will continue making sure the bedrooms and children’s areas are tidy and organised and see to any children’s laundry. Depending on how you plan your day there will be plenty of down time until school pick up. Earliest 3.30pm. You will then oversee homework, take them to various activities and extracurricular activities. You do not need to cook for the children as they have an inhouse chef. The day will usually end around 8/9pm.   During the holidays and especially when travelling you will be expected to work a full day.   This is a very busy family, so this is a position for someone who is on the ball and highly organised. You will be working in a household with additional staff so it is important that you have strong communication skills and can work in a team environment.   You will be provided with your own bedroom and bathroom which is on a separate part of the house to the rest of the family, so you have plenty of privacy.   Christmas and New Year will be spent in their home in Australia. The family are happy to fly you out a week earlier at their expense so you can spend time with your own family if you are from Australia.   This is an animal friendly home so you must be comfortable with two kitty cats around. Therefore, you must feel comfortable with mum being around.   The family are looking for someone who is incredibly caring and loves spending time with children. They are happy for you to take the children out, arrange activities that focus on their development and education and arrange age appropriate outings and classes. Someone active, on the ball and very organised. A warm, friendly and calm manner.   The family travel and you will be required to travel with them.
