Job Overview

Burlington Nannies are seeking an experienced and engaging daily nanny to join a family in Islington. The position is full-time, Monday to Friday, 8am to 7pm. The salary offered is £60,000–£70,000 gross per year, depending on experience. The role involves working with two delightful children aged 11 months and 5 years. This role commences early May

Role Responsibilities

• All nursery duties, including maintaining a safe and tidy environment for the children
• Preparing healthy meals and snacks, as well as handling the children’s laundry
• Organising playrooms and child-related areas
• Planning and arranging educational and fun activities, both indoors and outdoors
• Organising outings and playdates to encourage social and creative development

Candidate Requirements

• Previous experience caring for both babies and school-aged children
• Comfortable with both sole and shared charge; parents occasionally work from home
• Excellent communication skills, with a kind, caring, and engaging approach
• Ability to create a nurturing and stimulating environment
• Mandarin language skills are  advantageous but not essential
• Fluent English

Family Details

You will be caring for two children: a happy 11-month-old baby and a creative, well-behaved 5-year-old. The eldest enjoys crafts and imaginative play. The family has a friendly dog, though caring for the dog is not part of the nanny’s responsibilities. Parents occasionally work from home, so flexibility and professionalism are important.

Additional Information

• Occasional evening babysitting and proxy parenting are required
• Some travel with the family may be requested
