Belgravia – Daily Governess

We have a new client on our books who have two children aged 2 & 3 years old. The youngest is a little boy who is very good natured, calm, likes to play, read books and enjoys going to various classes. His big sister is very active and likes to be busy. She attends a local nursery, loves to go horse riding and is quite sporty. Both enjoy going to drama clubs, parks, and music.

The family are looking for a native English speaker who can focus on the children’s language development. Although they understand English they need to practice speaking as it isn’t their first language. (they are bi lingual in French and Russian). Additionally, you will focus on the educational needs and developmental milestones.

The parents are looking for a mature candidate who is dynamic, engaging and has a warm and cheerful disposition. Someone who is confident to support the children in their language skills through play, talking, activities and outings.

The family employ housekeepers so you do not need to provide any nursery duties. However, they would like someone who is happy to prepare lunch for the children and occasionally dinner.

The family also have a doggie who is very much part of the family but won’t be your responsibility.

This is a position for someone who is confident in a sole and shared charge position.

Monday to Friday from 9am to 7pm with flexibility to occasionally cover the odd weekend with prior notice.

Salary £55,000 to 70,000 gross per year which is dependent on your level of experience and educational qualifications.
