A long standing client of ours is looking for two professional and highly skilled housekeepers to join a team of staff. You will be required to work a 5 day week on a rotation where you will cover one weekend a month with two days off in the week.

We have a new client on our books who are looking for a professional and experienced chef. It is essential that you have previous experience working within a private household on a full time basis.

The hours will mainly be from 11am through to 8pm. Any additional hours can be taken in lieu. You will be working a five day week which will include Saturday and Sunday. The family spend 6/7 months of the year in the UK and travel for the rest of the year. There is the opportunity to travel with them if you wish to but this is not essential.

During the week days you will be cooking for a couple. Weekends are busier with friends and family often visiting. They are looking for someone who can cook good healthy meals but  very much home style cooking. Fish/chicken  pies, roasts, salads, soups etc. Michelin presentation. When entertaining at weekends it can be up to 16 people for lunch and it is usually a buffet table for people to help themselves. Evening dinner parties can be up to 20 people and very much more of a 3-4 course finer dining experience. When the family are entertaining large groups there will be an assistant to work alongside you

They grow their own produce and want the chef to take advantage of the fruits and vegetables they grow. They are very much into organic and seasonal eating. Any surplus left over will be turned into jams, chutneys and kimchi. You should also be confident to make breads. desserts, and pastries.

At times during the summers and when travelling they like barbeque food. It would be ideal if you are confident barbeque racks of meat – not  a deal breaker though.

This is a fully staffed household so you must have excellent communication skills and able to work in a team environment. Organised and  the ability to keep all cooking areas clean is key.

You will be responsible for stocking the fridges and pantry along with sourcing the best ingredients.

This is a role for someone who is relaxed and unflappable and takes real pride in their work

The family have three dogs who are not your responsibility but you should feel comfortable with them being in the house (they do not enter the chefs kitchen)
